saved the day

today I saved the day. We were locked out of Grandi and Grandad's flat........so I crawled under a barbed wire fence, ran half a mile, got past the security gate, opened Grandad's car, got the key from the glovebox, got back out from the security gate, and ran back half a mile to let everyone in past the main gates.

slapped face syndrome

This week I was sick with "slapped face" sickness. Erythema infectiosum or fifth disease is one of several possible manifestations of infection by erythrovirus previously called parvovirus B19. The disease is also referred to as slapped cheek syndrome, slapcheek, slap face or slapped face. In Japan the disease is called 'apple sickness' or 'ringo-byou'
